Dr. Brandon Martin is a family orthodontist in Placer County, California who specializes in providing quality, customized care to his patients. Dr. Martin attended the University of California San Francisco where he earned his dental doctorate degree, graduating at the top of his class. He continued his dental education completing an additional three-year specialty residency at the University of Maryland where he earned both a specialty certificate in orthodontics as well as a master's degree in craniofacial biology. He has earned numerous awards including academic Dean's List, election to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society, and numerous academic scholarships. Dr. Martin received a bachelor's degree in business management from Brigham Young University. Additionally, he served as the pre-dental student advisor, worked in a dental research laboratory, and earned a minor in Spanish.
Dr. Martin has presented educational lectures to dental groups on topics including orthodontic growth modification, Class III skeletal management, and the treatment planning of challenging interdisciplinary orthodontic cases.
Dr. Martin loves being an orthodontist and focuses on providing individualized care to each of his patients. He enjoys the variety found in helping both children and adults achieve their smile goals. He is an active member of both local and national orthodontic societies. He has a strong passion for dental education and can often be found on "vacation" at an orthodontic seminar, staying on top of the latest advances in orthodontic treatment modalities. Other than creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Martin enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with his family.
